    Impact Investing employs a range of financial tools, including grants, deposits, loans, loan guarantees, and others to accomplish specific outcome objectives.

    Ginger helps foundations, financial institutions, and nonprofits develop and implement thoughtful strategies for impact investment. She also monitored high risk investments for a major foundation’s international and domestic Program-Related Investment portfolio, with a focus on conservation and science; population and reproductive health; and children, families, and communities.

    An expert in Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), healthy food financing, microenterprise and small business investment domestically and internationally, Ginger has taken a lead role in implementation of multiple national policy initiatives to increase access to affordable financial services and food access in low-income/low-wealth communities.
